Automate

Defined jobs are still done by hand, and agents elsewhere multiply faster than the people accountable for them.

AI that does defined jobs, each with a named owner and a way to stop it.

Automate puts AI agents to work on jobs your business already defines, such as customer letters, support on calls and invoice processing. Each job has a named person who owns it, written rules, and a record of what was approved. Our advisers, human and agentic, help you choose the first job and design the organisation around it.

The problem it solves

Agents multiply faster than the people accountable for them.

53%

of organisations with AI agents say an agent has exceeded the permissions it was given.

Cloud Security Alliance and Zenity, April 2026 (vendor-sponsored survey of 445 organisations).
Jobs are still done by hand

People draft and summarise with AI, but defined jobs in collections, customer service and finance operations still wait for someone's time.

Nobody owns the agent

When an agent sends a letter or answers a customer, few businesses can say who approved it or which rules applied. Only 15% name an owner for most of their agents (Cloud Security Alliance, 2026, vendor-sponsored survey).

The same work is built again

Good prompts and workflows live in one person's account and are rebuilt by the next team, with no shared record.

Where it fits best

Start where the work is repetitive, high in volume and easy to check.

Automate is strongest in three functions. We do not spread across every team.

Who owns what

Every job has an owner, a rule and a record you can follow.

From the agent that drafts, to the check against your rules, to the person who approves.

Sectors

In each sector, the same method starts with a different job.

Pick the tab nearest your business. Each shows where Automate is used first, who owns the job and what we bring.

Financial services and lending

Where it is used

Collections letters and messages, complaint replies and help for advisers on calls. An agent drafts or supports each one, and it is checked against your rules, including the Financial Conduct Authority's Consumer Duty.

Who owns it

The chief operating officer owns the process. The head of customer service owns call quality. The finance director signs off cost.

What we bring

Comms for letters, Contact for calls on Amazon Connect, and advice to set the rules. People decide on credit.

Retail and e-commerce

Where it is used

Customer contact in peak season without hiring temporary staff, order and returns questions, and replies that must match your policies. Agents handle routine questions so your people take the difficult ones.

Who owns it

The head of customer service owns replies. The chief operating officer owns fulfilment exceptions and returns. The finance director watches cost.

What we bring

Contact for live support, Comms for customer messages, and written rules for refunds and returns wording.

Legal and accountancy

Where it is used

Client intake checks, document classification and invoice processing, with client material kept out of public AI tools.

Who owns it

The chief operating officer owns intake. The finance director owns invoice processing. The head of customer service owns client replies.

What we bring

Skill Teams for finance work (being built), Comms for client chasers, and advice on supervision rules.

The agent
  • Drafts letters, messages and replies in your tone.
  • Checks each one against your rules.
  • Flags anything doubtful, and stops when told to.
The named person
  • Approves anything consequential before it is sent or paid.
  • Owns the job, the rules and the exceptions.
  • Decides on credit, hiring and medical matters, which AI does not decide.
Consequential actions are approved by people.

Automate does not run unattended. The work is divided so each side does what it does best, and the record shows which was which.

Agentic Org Structure

Design your agentic organisation, or start from a pre-built structure.

Agentic Org Structure is a product within Automate, and it is being built. We design a bespoke agentic organisation for you: the agent roles, how work passes between them, the limits on each and the named human owner of each role. Or you start from a pre-built structure from GenWA, maintained and upgraded for you, and adapt it. Either way, every agent role has an owner, written rules and a way to stop.

Calculator

Estimate the hours one defined job could return to your team.

Enter how many items the job handles each month, the minutes each takes by hand, and the minutes a person still needs to review. You see an estimate built from your own numbers. It is a starting point for a conversation, not a commitment.

Time released calculator

Your judgement of the tasks that are routine, rule-based and low-risk. A person still approves anything consequential.
52 weeks divided by 12 months.

Indicative, from the numbers you enter

Hours released each month34.6 hours
Hours released each week8 hours
Tasks handed over each week80
Assumptions
  • Time is released only for tasks handed over in full. Checking the agent's work is not counted.
  • Approval of consequential actions stays with a named person.

Items marked assumption can be edited. No figures are stored or sent.

How this is worked out

Hours a week handed over = tasks x minutes each / 60 x share suitable. Hours released a month = hours a week x working weeks in a month.

How to start

Choose one job, name its owner, then widen.

Step 1Choose a defined job. Pick one in collections, customer service or finance operations where the steps are clear and a person can check the result.
Step 2Name the owner and the rules. One person owns the job. The rules, the limits and the route for exceptions are written down before the agent starts.
Step 3Put it to work and measure. The agent runs inside your controls with an approved model. You measure the result against the job as it is today, then add the next job.
How approval works

Nothing consequential goes out without an approval you can see.

The record is produced as the work happens. Anything consequential waits for the named person whose authority covers it.

Four steps in order: a document is generated alongside AI use, flagged, approved by a person, and recorded.

  1. 1Document generated

A record is produced alongside the AI use, as the work happens.

  2. 2Flagged

Anything that needs a decision is sent to the person who owns it.

  3. 3Approved by a person

A named person approves, changes or rejects it. AI does not sign off.

  4. 4Recorded

The decision, the approver and the date are kept with the document.

Automate products

The products that put agents to work, and where each stands.

Contact is available now, and Comms can be shown in a demo. Skill Teams, Library, Agent Catalogue and Agentic Org Structure are being built.

Where it runs

In your AWS or Azure account, or hosted by GenWA on AWS as agreed.

Agents use approved model providers: OpenAI, Anthropic, Amazon Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, Google Gemini or private models. Personal data is redacted before approved outside model calls. Controls apply to the AI you connect and route through GenWA, not to every tool in the business.

Mapping supports compliance and is not legal advice. We prepare the evidence; accredited bodies issue certification.

Questions buyers ask

Straight answers.

What is GenWA Automate?

GenWA Automate puts AI agents to work on defined jobs, such as customer letters, support for advisers on calls and invoice processing. Each job has a named owner, written rules, a record of what was approved and a way to stop it.

What is Agentic Org Structure?

It is a product within Automate, and it is being built. We design a bespoke agentic organisation for you, with roles, hand-offs, limits and a named human owner for each agent role, or you start from a pre-built structure from GenWA.

What is the GenWA Toolkit?

The GenWA Toolkit is our paid collection of native tools, refined, maintained and upgraded, with bundles by sector and function. Pre-built agentic organisation structures from GenWA sit alongside it. Contents and prices are confirmed in writing.

Which jobs should we start with?

Start where the work is repetitive, high in volume and easy to check. We see the strongest fit in collections letters and messages, customer service and contact centre calls, and finance operations such as invoice processing. Our advisers, human and agentic, help you choose one.

Who approves what an agent does?

A named person owns each job and approves anything consequential. The agent can draft, check and flag, and it can be stopped. AI is not used for decisions on credit, hiring or medical matters; people decide.

Where does Automate run, and which models does it use?

It runs in your AWS or Azure account, or hosted by GenWA on AWS as agreed. It uses approved model providers: OpenAI, Anthropic, Amazon Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, Google Gemini or private models. Personal data is redacted before approved outside model calls.

Do we have to replace our current systems?

Not to start. We agree how each job connects to the systems you already run, and tell you what is needed before work begins. Controls apply to the AI you connect and route through GenWA.
